Wrap me in your arms!

I am a hugger. Nothing in the world is more appealing to me than an awesome hug! It brings warmth to my soul, and happiness to my being. Some people don't like physical contact, but that's not how i roll. hahaha. If you don't like hugs, you need help:) My favorite thing, though, is getting hugs from Jesus. Those moments where you feel his warm embrace. Those moments where there is no doubt who is holding you, that you are in the arms of God. When the Spirit is strongly present, and where you feel the ability to do anything.. Because God is the one releasing you to do it. When we don't feel God's presence, we feel alone.. we feel abandoned. But God's word says he'll never leave us, and he'll never forsake us. When God wraps us in his arms, it's for a purpose. It's to remind us that he is in control, that he is God, and that what you've believed in is REAL! It's POWER! The hard part, however, is whenever we're sent out to do something. We don't feel the presence, or the strength of his arms beneath us. Yet we know that we're walking for a reason. Many times, we're sent out into the world to bring others back with us. God's love is not meant to be for us alone. It's for everyone! Our job, is to pull others into that love with us! I pray today, that you are reminded of the embrace  of Jesus. I hope that you see his arms reaching out to hug you, and i pray that you rest in them today. More importantly, i pray that Daddy's love would compel you forward, to reach out to others and extend the same love to them!

YOU are God's workmanship. Scripture says it. You know what that means? HE SPENT TIME ON YOU. "So God created human beings in his own image.In the image of God he created them;male and female he created them." [Genesis 1:27] You were made in the image of God, by his very own hands. He didn't make you so that you could wander around earth. He made you so that he could love you,and so that you could love him! Why? You're HIS! You always have been, and you always will be. 
   It says in Psalms that you are FEARFULLY AND WONDERFULLY made. In Daddy's eyes, you're the most beautiful thing you could be. It's like parents, even if the world says they have the ugliest baby ever to be born, it's still THEIR baby. They think it's perfect. Why? Because they made it. It's their creation, it's their family, and they love it. Same goes with God. He put a lot of thought into you, and alot of love as well. He finds you beautiful. Even if you don't like the way you look, or your personality, just be grateful. God didn't make you look like Mona Lisa. I swear, you look MUCH better than she did:) I'm not saying you're the ugly baby,but take courage. No matter what the world thinks about you, or what you think about yourself, HE MADE YOU. And he sees you as beautiful.

God Takes This Whole "Love" Thing to a Brand New Level

God's love is foreign. It's something that is somewhat... unfathomable. We're used to people loving us in the best way they know how. God, however, takes this to a WHOLE new level. He is Love. (1John4:16). His love is unfailing, and never ending. Receiving God's love was one of the most difficult things for me to do. I understood that he loved me, i knew he died for me, and that i was supposed to have a "relationship" with Jesus. I never comprehended the actual relationship part though. The relationships I had been in were temporary and they were conditional. Friends were around when you did what they wanted, family was pleased based on behavior, teachers were proud of the effort you put in, they were all based on what I had done. With Jesus, none of that was true. He loved me despite every mistake I had ever made. He looked past my failures, triumphs, and exterior into my heart. Even when that wasn't pure, he loved me. He wanted me around, he wanted to hear my voice, and he wanted to spend time with me. He wants you today, tomorrow, and forever. It's impossible for ANYTHING to match the desire that Jesus has for YOU. Passionate, loving, intense desire. You were made for him. Love him, and let him love you. No matter where you've come from, no matter what you've done, he still wants you with all of his being.  Open your eyes and see all that he does to show you his love. You'll be AMAZED.
